Nairobi - Alego Usonga Member of Parliament Samuel Atandi became the first lawmaker to be ejected from a session of the 13th Parliament.
Atandi's ejection from the House came as the opposition Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party seeks to fast-track the removal of nominated MP Sabina Chege from its leadership lineup.
During the heated debate, National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula threw out Atandi because he was grossly out of order to throw jibes at the chair.

Wetang'ula went on:
Before throwing out Atandi, Wetang'ula had given the floor to the Leader of Minority Opiyo Wandayi, whom he said would be heard uninterrupted warning that anyone who engages in misconduct would be inviting their inclusion from the Chamber.

The Ugunja MP observed that Azimio cannot manage their affairs in the House properly due to the vacancy in their leadership.
Wetang'ula vowed to issue a ruling on the matter today, Thursday, May 4.
Earlier, TUKO.co.ke reported that Sabina vowed to stand her ground even as the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party moved to replace her from her position.
Speaking on the floor of the House on Thursday, April 13, Sabina insisted that she had only heard reports of her removal from the lucrative position from the media.
The former Murang'a woman representative observed that in Article 47 of the constitution, there is the right of every person to administrative action that is lawfully reasonable and procedurally fair.
